When I worked for the USPS, if I missed two days or more of work, I was forced to provide a doctor's excuse! Not doing so resulted in forced time off without pay! The same applied to most federal workers! Why not Congress too, as they are federal workers!

Who do data centers benefit? It feels like this rush to build them is a gold rush, a dot-com bubble -- like a run for quick riches; something that benefits very few at an enormous expense to the rest of us.

These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR. We need a data center moratorium — now.
No testing = no COVID, no measles, no cyclospora. No lawyers, no oversight = no crimes. If there's no one to see something, there's no one to say something. Simple.
