Pretty proud of this one! Printed, assembled and wired this weekend! My first attempts at wet decals . It's an American building (Joyce 1865 NY) but we Australian-ised it with some graffiti, shit beer and a dodgy awning.

Completed the main engine part for the Arwing. Just loosely stuck into a prototype body shell here for reference, but the final version will have integrated mounting points for the individual components.
Otford inspired station is now finished with lighting and glued down. Set dressing to follow!

Its really fun working out how the wings are shaped and how they might actually function. There’s limited clear views of some of the more intricate parts in the game, so for a lot of spots I’m just trying something that looks vaguely correct.
I’ve spent the last few months relearning 3d modelling after not having touched it for the longest time. Learning Blender has been a bit of a challenge but I think im starting to feel comfortable with it now!
We were initially told our design concept was rejected. That we were only included for representation. Our numbers were halved. The end result? OzFurs WON THE BEST FLOAT DESIGN FOR SYDNEY MARDI GRAS PARADE 2026!
