Spider-Man: Brand New Day was everything i needed it to be. It was excellent as a Spider-Man story, a great "small, street-level" story and a great "big cog" in the overall MCU. Great traffic control of a lot of characters. It felt like I hadjust seen a lot, but, by the end, I still wanted more.

Today we begin the Holy Week of FoxMas. We shall be celebrating my birth all week long. I took the week off. Plan accordingly.
This was one of my "Goth Awakening" songs. I heard it and thought "THIS is how I want music to make me feel!" Last night, I heard it radiating from the speakers of my local corporate grocery store's in-store ambiance soundtrack. Right then and there, I crumbled to dust like a vampire at dawn.

There are many artists I grew up with who are starting to getting old and it feels weird. Not Les Claypool. With him, it feels right. He was kind of a weird old man even back then.
