I think part of what inspires so much grief, so much mourning, in the loss of Tim Curry, is that this was someone who you could feel genuine around. He did not shy away from being offbeat. He very pointedly embraced himself for the (lovingly) delightful freak that he was, and laughed the whole way.
As someone who has never been a fan of country music, I was a Dolly fanatic. She's proof that it's not hard to choose to be good, and a shining example for what the best of humanity has ever been. RIP Dolly Parton. You'll be sorely missed, and cherished for all of time.
