Ears at mid alert level. No squirrels🐿️🐿️ , only Doves🕊️🕊️, who kinda look like squirrels in the shade.

The hummingbirds love the Zinnias. Thought they were supposed to be butterfly 🦋 favorites. Yet to see a butterfly 🦋 on them.

It's juvie oriole bath time! They SQUABBLE about everything! The temp isn't 118°, it's only 96°. Camera is in the sun.

Few seconds in a wasp of some sort gets a drink from the floating pad w/ holes just for the insects to drink from. At the end a black & bright yellow bird comes in, pretty sure that's a male lesser goldfinch. Saw a female on another video.

Juvie oriole using the wire bee 🐝 I put in there as a perch. The other one is a wire Dragonfly. I'm certain I got them w/ perches in mind.

I put a trail cam on the bird bath & purple salvia. Wait till the end… 🐤 Pretty sure that's Ms. Rufus hummingbird, they came in about a week ago. I've since added some decorations I got years ago that'll make great perches.

My toad 🐸 & lizard 🦎 sanctuary is working! I found an itsy-bitsy teeny-tiny squeeee 🐸 toadlet hanging out by the water bowl. I put veggie etc scraps in there for the flies & worms & I have a worm composter tube in there too. Plus 2 boards to hide under, & night lights for the toads too.

Welp, the whelp is 9 months old today & her growth has plateaued for last month & weighs 32#. Those small poodle 🐩 & cattle dog (heeler) genes might be keeping her from becoming huge! She's the perfect size now.

This male Northern oriole almost looks more like a hooded oriole. Maybe he's moulting?

Another look at the juvie orioles who are all hungry at the same time. We had 3 pairs this year, so that's probably 3 nests of baby orioles.

It looks like ALL the oriole babies are here at the same time! Plus a Daddy oriole. So many babies! Good thing I got that jelly feeder w/ 4 bowls, I filled them back up after this. I wish they'd stay longer, they'll leave *soon*.

Feeding a flock of juvie orioles & black chinned & rufus hummingbirds

Every morning around 0500, Marshy plops down on my head & neck, pins me with her paw (she's a pro at that) & then kisses me awake. She's such a sweetie! 🥰😘 Not bad for taken in total darkness!

Marshmallow has a very angry 🐿️ trapped in the wheel well of the trash trailer. She came in later all hot & panting without a 🐿️. She caught a baby squirrel yesterday & brought it to bed last night.

Have some GOOD NEWS for once, the dolphins 🐬🐬🐬 saved the whale 🐋
