From a beach that borders WHOI’s Quissett Campus, WHOI electrical engineer Jordan Remar paired a long exposure with his love of electricity. By day, Remar designs and optimizes complex circuit boards for deep-sea sensors, but at night, he can be found photographing the stars!

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

So until those data privacy laws are passed (but don't hold your breath), data brokers can continue to buy location data for every US mobile phone user, including US troops, from US telecoms and sell it to the highest bidder. And that's why the US military is left playing phone cops.
