HR 9720 is the latest in a pattern of attacks from Congress trying to destabilize DC's finances. DoorDash is supporting the bill because the company doesn't want to pay TWENTY CENTS to restore food access programs for low-income households. DoorDash's revenue in the last 12 months was $14.72B.

And they're named similarly. "Free DC Slate" vs "Democrats United to Free DC". The establishment party folks are trying hard to tell you they're the ones behind Free DC, but they're not. They're using that name to try to claim the organizing work that Free DC has been doing. Because it's working.
