Missouri voters just blocked a Republican-led effort to raise the bar for passing citizen-led constitutional amendments. Under current law, ballot measures require a simple majority for passage. Amendment 4 would have required ballot initiatives to win a majority in each congressional district.
Haitian- and Syrian-Americans are in danger of being dragged to concentration camps where they will be tortured and left to whither away and, if they survive that, sent to a country where their lives are in danger. America was built on concentration camps, forced labour, torture. Nothing changed.
The first author, Michael Worobey, was skeptical of a market origin. So he did what scientists do, he tried to prove the hypothesis wrong....rigorous studies in landmark paper after landmark paper kept showing the market as the origin of COVID-19.
