The American right have never forgiven Europe for celebrating Obama being elected president. This is the woke that has resulted in JD Vance preaching about shared values that we do not share and Trump demanding Greenland. Reactionary Americans have yet to learn lessons of interdependence.

Collapse is not coming. It's already here. Our house is burning, yet the economy remains business as usual, and the tourist stays under the umbrella. Like frogs in boiling water, we don't jump, we normalize collapse. The real crisis is our inability to buid an economy beyond capitalism. #Degrowth

This could not miss the point by a wider margin. Working class and vulnerable kids will never have the life they should have until we stop acting as if it's OK that poverty predominates in a rich country. No child should grow up in poverty. Covid school closures aren't the problem.

The Hard Problem is not a mystery of nature - it is a limitation of the human field of language. It is Descartes error: Believing there is a "brain" (matter) and a "mind" (spirit) that need to be reconciled.
