Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

Cuba’s humanitarian crisis is the latest episode in a 128-year struggle for control over the island.

School closures during covid were a capitalist measure to enable a wealth transfer of public money to capital. In Canada relief measures took the form of massive subsidies to businesses instead of funding public health and education. School closures instead of more teachers and better schools.

If our POS elected officials had spent money on the school infrastructure and more teachers they could have been kept open safely. We could have funded our hospitals properly too.

Two mutuals of mine challenged the canadian death race yesterday. Both of them DNF'd. I guess it was like fucking monsoon weather on the mountain. The one is a champion who has run a number of 100 milers. She's incredible. It must have been super challenging.

You know I think Hasan really bothers a lot of leftists because like. . . Yeah. . . He isn't a radical but he gets a *lot* of attention and is cast as a radical. I don't think he's often *super wrong* and like I think it annoys the shit out of leftists that he's funny, popular and not often wrong.

The night club next to my work that has an annual murder apparently serves excellent carribean/chinese food. I am fucking excited for this chow mein I ordered.

We have to go to our fake jobs and have fake friends to get fake moneys to pay our fake mortgages and buy some fake shit but like exercising your will to like control the only thing you can: your own body and mind is like a punk thing to do. Which is why I think I love running.
