Time to wake up, two party politics is barely democracy and far to easily manipulated, especially during extreme wealth inequality! #TaxWealthNotWork

Hard agree with this new oped by @maragay.bsky.social for the NYTs. In fact, I've written 2 books about this subject documenting this issue--happy to see folks are finally starting to pay attention! www.nytimes.com/2026/07/14/o...

Some dude I blocked said, "Stop trying to rebrand yourself as more radical than before the election." 1. None of my politics have substantially changed since Nov '24, I'm just less timid. 2. Pretty sure most folks are way more radical than they were in Oct '24. In many ways. That's good thing.

Our mother Earth is reacting to our excessive use of fossil fuels. Either we create #GoliathBreakdown & dismantle #Goliaths or we suffer even deeper #ClimateBreakdown

A big and brutal heatwave will smother the Eastern US next week! Highs 95-100. Heat index 100-115. What really makes the #heatwave standout… the size and longevity… covering half the nation and lasting a full week for many. With all this said, the heat dome intensity will not be unprecedented.

Here I am on the corner supporting the woman rally in Tehachapi 6=24-26. I am on the corner of the famers market every Thursday and I attend all the rallies I can. I just don't have the resources to travel far. However making a statement here in a small red town is at least something.

very very cool words from none other than Santiago Ramón y Cajal in his work, “Advice for a Young Investigator” - to me, applicable to almost everything in life. respect is important, but self-respect even more so 😊

Excerpt from Chapter 2 “Beginner’s Traps”. It reads, “Undue admiration of authority. The most important problems are already solved. Preoccupation with applied science. Perceived lack of ability.

I believe that excessive admiration for the work of great minds is one of the most unfortunate preoccupations of intellectual youth- along with a conviction that certain problems cannot be attacked, let alone solved, because of one’s relatively limited abilities.

Inordinate respect for genius is based on a commendable sense of fairness and modesty that is difficult to censure. However, when foremost in the mind of a novice, it cripples initiative and prevents the formulation of original work.”
