Me: The new agent harness is great. You feed your tokens into the machine. Then you run simulations which, if successful, produces tickets. If they fail you have to buy more tokens and keep running the sims. Once you have enough tickets you can redeem them Boss: are you at dave & busters, yes or no

This is all so gross including the way they are leveraging what is an unhealthy attitude towards children’s sports. My kid had a game where the coach from the other team was taunting/trying to mess with their players who were lining up to take penalty kicks. A literal grown man taunting children.

Apparently after losing my voice earlier this month I now have strep and: A. I’m still slightly disappointed in pills instead of pink liquid B. Maybe we should just give up on this whole existing in human form and go full AI (kidding but until the antibiotics kick in…)

Sharing in case someone needs to see this - if you are a fallopian tube having person and do not want to have any more children and are having any kind of abdominal surgeries seriously consider getting them removed. its wild how this recent this knowledge is.

Woah, this is huge news: most ovarian cancer begins in the fallopian tubes, which can be removed (if patient desires) during other abdominal surgeries. Ovarian cancer has vague symptoms and often isn’t diagnosed until late stage with low survival rates. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/28/h...

anyway, just passing the time while I wait another week (makes 4+ total) for the CT scan my oncologist ordered to be done in less than 2wks * (*its probably fine - the step needed to rule things out with some symptoms, but yeah we have a wait time issue)

The thing I don’t get about this is you could already private pay for faster MRI or CT. You just needed a dr referral. And for cancer diagnosis - 2 years ago I had to wait over a month for a biopsy to confirm my cancer because of capacity issues 🙃 www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...
