So excited to say that this week starts my collaboration with Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival on Unreal Engine Storytelling and Cinematic Course. I'm acting as a Narrative Supervisor to help participants survive 11 weeks and release a short film 🥳 Huge thanks to Materriya & Maret Saluste.
My character arc is having an interesting turn. TikTok noticed I like vids in Japanese. So it started waterboarding me. With the only suitable content for language learning. That is daily crime reports. I'm alarmingly well-versed now. And I know a couple doramas that started the same way.

Japanese was the only language I actually wanted to learn. I had multiple failed attempts over 15+ years. Decided to not give up and try again. And today I finished N5-4 level grammar. In 100 days. Alone. Very proud of myself ☺️ Consider this your cue to brag too.

Dishonored 2 - still an undisputed champion of rendering environments that are out of my tax bracket
Woke up yesterday to a complete redesign of an app I used daily. No new features, half of the old ones removed, bad ux on top. Instantly remembered this masterpiece.
And so that's a wrap on Dishonored + Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches Damn near perfect games for me, the DLC even slightly more so. Daud (RIP Michael Madsen) and the Whalers are soooo cool.
The X-Files: Deep State finally has its own page on IMDb! Gosh, what an experience developing it. It was my first time running a writers' room, and it really paid off - our players adored the narrative. Such a shame you can't play it anymore, but thankfully there are playthroughs on YouTube.

So I decided to try it on Steam Deck. Dishonored was a huge emotional aid at a very difficult point in my life, and for that I’m forever grateful.
