She's still on crate rest for another two weeks but her x-rays were pretty much clear, they said she likely has a soft tissue injury and the beginnings of arthritis. 😭😭😭 She's made a lot of improvement since her last appointment, so they aren't super concerned. We also found a vet we really like.

Does anyone here who's had to crate rest their dog for an extended amount of time have any tips on how to help them? She's already medicated, and honestly I think she is starting to feel better but it's just really hard for her to be confined. She won't use her bully stick

Our poor girl is on strict crate rest for the next 8 weeks and it's breaking my heart. The pain meds and the rest IS working, but as she has started to feel better if has made making her rest so much harder. Poor girl desperately wants to walk but we really can't let her. :(

Please think good thoughts for our pup. She is in a lot of pain due to a back issue and it's breaking my heart. :( so worried about her, but she's got pain meds and eating well so hopefully rest and anti inflammatories is all she needs.

There's a flavor of poster on the internet that seems to get off on saying "I saw this coming!" and "why didn't you expect this?" to other people choosing to be hopeful or optimistic about something that ends up being shitty or bad and it boggles my mind why you'd choose to live that way.
