Being diagnosed with rejection sensitive dysphoria explains a lot. However, also super happy to have developed some relatively healthy coping strategies over my lifetime without realizing what was happening. Still fucking hurts though, even knowing it's based on my own incorrect perceptions.

Fourteen hours later, still no power. Minus 4C outside, incredibly quiet. Mainly wish I had water (am on my own well so no pump and no UV light working). Have a little gas insert going in one room. Sun is out, wind has gone, snow fell. Branches EVERYWHERE. Yay for cell service!
