Alright, it was suggested to me that I actually crowdfund the out of pocket cost for the lumbar MRI since my insurance keeps denying the day before the appt even w/ it as an important order. I will have more info in the replies as well. I was honestly hesitant but... ko-fi.com/portaltohades

Right now, I'm currently in need of a lumbar MRI but due to insurance denials and other roadblocks, I may be forced to pay out of pocket. Since trying to get it twice now, my symptoms have significantly worsened over the last few months. After discussing my options with friends, I've agreed to make a kofi goal to cover the MRI, bills, transportation, and a small cushion for other necessities. Literally any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I may have to push chapter 6's release date back by a couple weeks. I didn't expect to deal with so many set backs but my laptop, tablet and phone all died in the span of 2 months

my iphone had a logic board failure yesterday morning and just died. I've done literally nothing to it but it refused to turn on. It was less then 3 years old and the worker at apple was like, "these things just happen... anyway wanna buy a whole new phone for $700?" i have an android now.

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.

1/ This company’s models were trained on web scraped datasets (like LAION) and their founders are ex-Stability AI employees who engage in the same thieving practices that led artists like myself to sue Stability. GenAi companies NEED big names to sanitize their exploitation and crippling PR.
