The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

fucked up every time i remember wick's full name is actually pronounced 'warrick' so him asking to be called 'wick' is like an alexander asking to be called andy

This needs quite a bit of signatures and you can just be a comic reader to sign it. You ever read Hellboy and want to help the next generation of creators make their Hellboy, this is the kinda stuff we got to do to ensure that. Sick of seeing corp mindsets destroy creative life’s into nothingness

Apple charges people ~20% more than the Patreon list price and they keep the difference for themselves. They also hold the proceeds of iOS app sales for 75 days, making it impossible for creators to accurately predict earnings. They basically inserted themselves in order to rip *more* people off

the real hardest part is reading this and not posting the good panels

first pass of a book proof is the 'just read it normally and see what you catch' pass, second pass is the dreaded speck check. a read where you do nothing but look at the edge of every panel to see if any lines escaped containment. they are a lot more obvious when you do borderless panels like i do
