The eyebeast/Eyemother streams indie (mostly puzzle) games, sometimes retro; also Beat Saber at weird hours. I make chiptune & electronic music. I also make 3D, vector, & pixel art. She/her. 🖤🩶🤍💜 https://fyda.tech

Of course, the moment I need to go outside for a few hours is the moment my brain starts composing a chiptune in 6/4 time with metal riffs. Will I even remember it when I get back? Walking past a cacophony of street-level stores with music blasting from them makes this a little challenging. 😅

This may be a long shot, but with Summerchin starting in about a month, I wonder how much closer to 2K followers on Twitch we can get before the event. If there is such a thing as "long-form streams" that try to be thorough and hopefully also cozy...I suppose this is what I'm aiming for at least.

Markichin's current follower goal on Twitch at 1,945 out of 2,301.

Ugh, this is actually sickening. I found out that a website used my voice to create an AI voice soundboard thing where people can generate words using the likeness of my voice. They linked it to my twitch. I found that other people are on here too. I submit a takedown request, but this is so gross

🎉 Yes, it's true! Thinky Direct is returning for 2026, with a whole new line-up of exclusive trailers and reveals for the most amazing thinky games. Keep an eye out for more info very soon! Puzzle sicko content creators and journalists, reach out! More info below 👇

Thinky Direct 2026 - Coming Soon!

The image depicts the thinky mascot holding a sign above their head with the words "COMING SOON" written on it in cartoon bubble font. Behind them appears to be a large skyscraper within a bustling major city, with various references to puzzles and Thinky Dailies on banners and signs. On the skyscraper is a large screen with the "Thinky Direct 2026" logo.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday for the Eyemother's first appearance. I appreciate all the kind words and enthusiasm for this... weird thing that I poured a lot of work into! Despite some scuff, I still had a lovely evening. <3

A large close-up of the new Eyemother avatar, with a zoomed-out view floating in front of it (outlined in mint green).

She has a floating humanoid head (with a single large eye, pointed ears, and lips, but no nose), two floating hands (in brown leather mittens with metal vambraces), and many strands of electric pink hair billowing behind her.

Although she has no actual torso, the head floats above a metal breastplate, ornate metal pauldrons, and a long cloak with a standing collar. The cloak is dark purple on the outside, with mint green stars glittering on its dark pink inner lining. A brown leather belt with a prismatic cabochon brooch cinches the cloak where her neck would be.

These pieces of clothing and armour are purely decorative. Despite "evolving" from an eyebeast, Fyda is still, essentially, a floating head with floating hands and lots of hair.

Finally, after three weeks of work on a new avatar and one week of work on a new background, everything is now in place. A new form is arriving this week.

This is the kind of intrusive thought I get when playing video games (in this case, Hollow Knight: Silksong). Here I am, hours later, following through:

I just got a DM from someone that pirated my game. They said (paraphrasing) that with hindsight the game was absolutely worth the price, and were asking my preferred avenue for them to buy it (Steam vs Itch). I've gotten a lot of great DMs from players, but this one is probably my favorite.

I'm glad I decided to revisit Mario is Missing! for DOS. It has been delightfully cursed. This time around, I discovered that Luigi can take a photo at each of the historical sites. I was so tickled by the game's rendition of the Louvre that I had to make this...

Marki is an incredibly sweet and thoughtful streamer who is thorough in his exploration of games new and old. He tackles the sorts of completionist challenges many people would shy away from, and does this in such a patient, calming, and pleasant manner that the time simply flies.

Good mornafterning, Bluesky. My name is Marki and I am a videogame librarian variety streamer on Twitch. I mostly stream slow-paced full completion playthroughs and wish to provide a calm and welcoming environment in which others can unwind. You are more than welcome in our library, friends. 💜

I'm back home just in time for the Twitch 2025 recaps. Phew! This was my 3rd year of streaming. Thank you for all of the support. This has been an exhausting year, and I am grateful for all the company, encouragement, and distraction while I tried to play some video games.
