I believe in the Red Letter parts. I believe that the US is a place state that is a breath away from losing everything we fought for. I believe that we need to de-gun America. I believe that we need to get rid of the data centers and concentration camps.

Here’s my unedited letter: To the Editor, As a parent of two young children at Bruce-Monroe Elementary School, I am outraged by the 9/17 deployment of large numbers of heavily-armed, out-of-state National Guard and FBI agents during school drop-off hours. 14/

Ori Goldberg, Israeli human rights activist and a prominent voice for Palestinian rights, lost his life to colon cancer today, at the age of 50 💔 Goldberg was a man who always said the truth, without filters A terrible loss, he will be missed may you rest in peace Z"L יהי זכרו ברוך 😢

The Houthis claim responsibility for four attacks on Saudi Arabia in the past 24 hours. These include the deadly attack on King Khalid International Airport yesterday, attacks on Aramco’s Shedgum gas facility & Tanajib oil refinery, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.-i24

So, today alone: 12 killed and more than 300 wounded by the Houthis; Iran warned ships away from the UAE; a ship was hit by a projectile off the UAE coast; and multiple drones and missiles targeted airports in Saudi Arabia. Sure we will get a Truth Social later about how they are dying to negotiate.

This is truly horrifying and somewhat predictable. That said, I am a little concerned at how much this is doing the Supreme Court’s work for them by saying they “effectively ratified” this. At most, it was a likelihood standard. And the appeals courts shouldn’t be suggesting more than that.

5th Cir. issues a rare Saturday order. Holds that the Supreme Court's stay in D.V.D. forecloses a stay of removal for a Senegalese man with witholding of removal to Senegal who DHS intends to immediately deport to Sierra Leone. www.ca5.uscourts.gov/opinions/pub...

Separately, the Supreme Court has effectively ratified third-country removal of the sort that Gakou faces when it granted certiorari in a case raising the issue while still explicitly permitting the government to continue with third-country removals unabated pending full resolution on the merits. See DHS v. D.V.D., Nos. 26-426, 26A406 (U.S. Sept. 29, 2026) (per curiam). As a result, Gakou’s claim to an injunction against his removal to a country besides Senegal is unavailing and cannot be used to support the stay he currently seeks. Because Gakou has not demonstrated any meaningful probability of success on the merits, he is not entitled to a stay. The emergency motion for a stay pending appeal is DENIED.

Just today: - The Trump admin announced the first public execution since 1936. - Trump tried to incite a race war against Somalis. - Trump said anyone using the phrase AI is "THE ENEMY" - The NYT reported on a potential ICE plan to deport migrants on military boats and ferries.

JUST IN: Judge Kelly appears inclined to grant longer-term block on President Trump's ban of POLITICO, CNN and MSNOW from the White House. He seems most bothered by the lack of due process preceding the ban but is also weighing First Amendment concerns. Details TK

An organizer in the state said that one of the lead organizers of the hunger strike, a Russian asylum seeker named Idris Makhmudov, has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement. Remember, ICE also retaliated against a Delaney Hall hunger strike organizer👇🏽 #AbuseofPowerWatch

“Many of us have been separated from our families,” reads the letter, which was signed by 45 detained immigrants, as dozens joined in to stage the hunger strike. “We have missed births, funerals, years of our lives while sitting behind fences without having committed any crime.” #AbuseofPowerWatch

How is it that Senators stay in office so damn long and are so hard to vote out?? Because their corporate and foreign sponsors make sure they become wealthy through various legal but immoral opportunities and entrenched in the Senate via unlimited campaign contributions to forever do their bidding.
