This is an interesting article, though I don't really buy some of the theorizing as to why the lifestyle influencer is dying out. More likely the simple answer, the first one given is correct: it got oversaturated, overexposed, and people got bored.

Went to watch something on my lunch break, and whaddya know. There it is again. The transcript gets it correct! The captions decide that no, it must be something else that doesn't sound like what the transcript said it is.
Andrew.@g026r.leftblank.org · 5d agoThat's still happening. If you check an auto-generated transcript to a video, you'll see the same transcription errors. But, and this is AFAIK relatively new, the captions you see don't always match the transcript.
I might recommend a recent episode of @secretbase.bsky.social's "The History of Charging the Mound", which includes ass stitches, face stitches, and multiple torn knee ligaments — only one of which takes place on the field.
