Hooray, the crowdfunder for my book and exhibition "it's a sign" has reached its target!

It's like working in 1980s Poland; windows gone, toilets horrendous, corridors that lead to nowhere, but it's our art school and we need to defend it by whatever means necessary. For those that grasp the situation, a kind of freedom can prevail here. Students: get clear sighted and work together.

With approximately 10 people leaving naturally every month and a recruitment freeze. The target staffing level would be met by the end of October/November. Without having to payout £ms in Voluntary Redundancy agreements. Stopping the process now would save the University money!!!

In 50 days time our members will be taking 5 weeks of strike action. We call for the redundancy process to be stopped! Executives want 200 jobs to go (187FTE). Due to resignations and retirements, and non-staff savings, they are 35FTE from their staffing target. Stop this cruel, flawed process.

Degree show spaces: signs of departure. And speaking of SIGNS, the crowdfunder is at 92%. If you're the lucky person who tips it over the finish line, shedloads of extra sticke rs and postcards will be yours!

Between the 1970s and 1990s the UK state made a strategic bet to expand Higher Ed. They poured in untold billions of your money. Now it's been handed over to private creditors to burn in a furnace. Then they just laugh at you: at all the taxes you've ever paid or will ever pay. True story. (2/2)
