Me watching an anime trailer from Crunchyroll: hmmm this animation style is really really giving MDZS donghua One google search later: Yup. B.CMay pictures. I recognise those hands and the pretty eye close ups anywhere. And just the vibe.
every single actor joining the new harry potter series saying "I don't agree with JK Rowling's opinions!"
I feel like F+TM's Everybody Scream is a WWX song. But so are parts of One of the Greats too. But the first is just a rockstar WWX vibe. Him performing it at a concert, his long hair sticking to his face, fingers dancing down his double-necked guitar. Man I love Florence and the Machine so much.
Sometimes I really wonder what would have happened if WWX had completely backed off and left LWJ alone during the Cloud Recesses arc. Would LWJ have been upset or relieved? Also what if, when LWJ said in the Muxi cave that WWX was the kind of person he despised most, WWX went "ok so the guys that
Might as well post it here! A magical girl animation I've been slowly chipping at over the weekends for ages.
#MDZS Mini thought this morning: Selkie!WWX who gives his skin to JC when the Wen corner their group when they come to shore on a full moon night. WRH wants their magic, and believes their seal skins hold great power, so he tasks his youngest son and best hunter to capture a selkie and their skin.
Update (finally) to the Merthread. My eyelids are determined to make sure I sleep during peak writing hours.

Though many tales circulate around the various clans and kingdoms beneath the waves, the Sea Dragons of Gusu know the truth and stay
On a tangentially related note: why are there so many cheating LWJ fics on AO3 rn? I can't just exclude the word cheating bc there are good fics where Wangxian end up together by cheating on their other partner so like... idk how to get rid of all these "LWJ bangs MXY and WWX is heartbroken" fics
As long as I don't hit a crazy sleepy spell tonight, I'll update the mermay thread bc I feel like there's more to tell there.
So, a question for y'all: If Yunmeng is a coral reef with tropical and sub-tropical ocean life, what to the Jiang family look like as mer? Right now I'm going back and forth between octopi, sea snakes and several species of reef fish. But what's your personal visual? In the mer AU there's no hard

Had a fucked up idea; post-canon #mdzs , like... maybe 5+ years later. WWX is still disliked by the Lan elders, the rule about not interacting with WWX is still up, but the youngsters and a few of the older disciples actually vibe with him. One day on a night hunt with LJY, LSZ, WN and two other

Sorry for no Merthread updates, I've been really tired and also playing the paralives early access (I made WWX!) but I think i'll return to it, I have lots of cool things I've thought about, especially in regards to underwater creatures that have inspired each of the clans (and the Sea Witches) as

Morning, morning (ghostpup) teaser! ✨ Support the creation of this short on the link below! On a routine job, a jaded young witch encounters the ghost of a dog that is mysteriously immune to her anti-ghost spells.
It's bizarre how repeatedly people keep hijacking the conversation about Accessibility away from things like closed captioning, colorblindness support, alt-text for screen-readers, etc, to "Games should be easier to play, books should be easier to read, and shows should be simple to understand"
Should I continue the Wangxian Mermay thread or should I just leave it? I don't think many people saw/liked it so I'm ambivalent about continuing.
