This might just be the single rarest thing I've encountered in Pokemon. I threw 8 rocks at a Tauros before it fled. After the initial turn Tauros has a 90.01% chance to flee each turn. I haven't factored in the first turn into the probability yet, but this is at least a 1 in a million chance.
Safari week overtime phase ended with another Doduo after 7260 encounters. Actually caught this one. Phase #24 for Tauros.

Ending Safari Week 2026 5 shinies found. Managed to hit my 23rd phase towards finding a shiny Tauros and I'll be continuing that into overtime. #safariweek2026
