It also isn't enough for these freaks to just ask the AI, they gotta put up a bunch of slop in the search results so now I can't just search for how something works any more which makes my life harder too.

I hate the new hp show as much as anyone but its legit wild to me that multiple furries of all people have reposted the same insane argument that watching it is bad because it is a "kids show."

apparently comcast is forcing their customer support to use AI voice changers now and its about as awful an experience as you'd expect, idk who thought having an AI randomly speaking in tongues would make the already difficult experience of talking to someone in a noisy call center better

I think the part that makes me so done with discord over the id thing is that they're complying in advance. They aren't required to do it, they are just doing it anyway. I am not rewarding companies for complying in advance.
Of all the easy things you can do to help the environment, conserve water for communities not corporations, not perpetuate scams, support the labor and rights of creators... *not* using generative AI is the fucking easiest. You absolutely deserve to be shamed for using it for image and text creation

By using Spotify you are not individually responsible, obviously, but you give non-zero support via your collective acceptance (and accompanying monetary encouragement) of the platform's support of ICE when this first came to light last year. Sometimes we have to take the L to uphold our morals.
