Last week I rode about 50 miles around Paris, mostly taking small trips to go try new coffee shops. Overall Paris was a complete blast to ride in and I was surprised how comfortable it was to just jump into the chaos. Some random observations:
Surprised to run into a box truck running a generator blocking the east side esplanade this morning.
Paris shows the recipe for mass bike adoption: 1) Create a thriving, dense city with incredible transit. 2) Add decent enough bike lanes everywhere.
