Zelda II: The Adventure of Link! Still my favourite Zelda game after all these years 🤩
ZELDA MOOTIES I'm curious what everyone's first game in the series was! I first played OOT at a friend's house before getting my own copy later 😁 It's one of our big friendship memories that we still talk about! Haha

I'm gonna say something a bit controversial: I love the new look in the Ocarina of Time Remake. It has so much whimsy to it and I'm all about that scene, to be quite honest 😂
All except for Four Swords, Four Swords Adventure, A Link Between Worlds and Triforce Heroes
Take a look back at the 40-year history of The Legend of #Zelda! Which games have you played?
Some growing pains, but still proud of the first Retro Blast episode. Thank you! And this was nearly 7 years ago?! It's been almost 7 YEARS!? 😭
@retroblastpod.com first episode still holds up incredibly well 🔥🔥🔥
Psst. Nothing about your childhood is ruined. That game you liked? It’s still there. You can still like it. This new thing doesn’t look good? Ok. Play the thing from your childhood you liked that’s still there. It hasn’t left.
My life is stressful right now due to some personal events, so I'm honestly having a hard time. I'm sure there's heavy discourse today about Ocarina of Time. I don't have the mental power to get involved in it. But seeing the reveal on my lunch break made me smile. So, that's where I'm at on it.👍
November 2026 will be known as Grand Theft Zelda: Ocarina of Crime

The latest dumpster fire from Sony: "Reasonable" consumers know they don't own their digital games. If they did, only one copy of any game could ever be sold. If you had 60 seconds to speak to #Sony & the #PlayStation board, what would you say? Our discussion 👉 open.spotify.com/episode/6XMv...
Sony just had a State of Play, but their company decisions/PR have been so bad theyre going to try to steal Nintendo's thunder? Have fun with that 🫡

To boost off of this: GOG > STEAM for buying digital games - Permanent ownership w/ standalone offline installers - You OWN the .exe and can back it up on HDDs, discs, etc. - Can download even if the publisher shuts down or removes the game from the store - Games aren't tied to your profile
The problem is not being digital. The problem is ownership! With steam you have full access to the game files, you can backup then, you can make a physical copy if u want. At least you have some control. GOG EVEN BETTER, u have COMPLETE ownership, even if its digital! Sony is taking ownership away!
Ep 228: “Reasonable” gamers kno they don’t own digital games says Sony Also: PS5 TV launches, GTA6 = Adultery? & more! Listen here: open.spotify.com/episode/6XMv... Our sponsors: @rgcpodcast.bsky.social @loveretrobtw.bsky.social Pixelpondllc.com @absolutebestpc.bsky.social
And there it is... This only effects 4% of gamers 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙬, but this is the plan. Cloud, streaming, etc. They want to have complete control and gouge you for more $ This is what happens by accepting all-digital. Hope the "convenience" was worth it to all those who've been defending this bullshit.

Accessibility in games is something that we all take for granted, so it's nice to hear that Resonance has a lot of good things going for it in that department. Check out the full write-up for deets, it's a good one!
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy subverted our expectations in more ways than one... ...most notably as a pleasant surprise for accessibility (with one big omission) Here's our story spoiler-free a11y review broken down into 4 gameplay sections for you to explore: www.deargamers.net/reviews/reso...
