The Dahlias I grew from seed this year are starting to flower. I'm very excited to see what the flowers will look like! I've never grown Dahlias before because I wasn't interested in the dinner plate tuber Dahlia look. The seed grown flowers are exactly my speed and it's a surprise every time! 🌱

I had to pull up 2 of my less mature swamp milkweed plants. They developed milkweed yellows because of a leaf hopper infestation. I found a great deal on 2 much larger “ice ballet” Asclepias incarnata at the local nursery. One day after planting them this monarch showed up! 🌱 #bugsky #nativeplants
