FFS we cannot keep doing this… A handful of the richest people hoovering up wealth from everyone else while quite literally making the planet unlivable At what point does someone grow a fucking spine and do something?!

My column on how capital becomes a death cult. Faced with a choice between profit and human life, the radical right chooses profit. Then it tries to persuade us that mass death is what we want. It's the new phase of climate denial: accept your fate, earthlings. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Murderous heat, an endangered food supply, decimated landscapes: embrace the Mediterranean life | George Monbiot

As climate disaster stares us in the face, the radical right says ‘Embrace the Mediterranean life’. Embrace death, more like it, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Gill: All 100 senators last week passed a non-binding resolution condemning any pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. They're simultaneously considering confirming the guy who met with her and moved her to a low-security facility as the top cop in the United States. That is so insane to me.

I mean this in all seriousness, this is a severely mentally ill & delusional person who not only should be removed from office under the 25th amendment, but he should be in a psych ward. This is pure insanity on so many levels. He lives in a fantasy world. He is unwell & has lost touch with reality.

Those who can afford to rent or buy their own flat or house are doing well. Spare a thought for those who are forced or trapped into sharing, and those who can't afford to leave their parents. "Solitude as a new aspirational lifestyle"? Sole occupancy, not solitude. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

'We are not lonely': Solitude as a new aspirational lifestyle

A growing number of so-called "loneliness influencers" are spotlighting solo living without children or friends - and it's spurring debate.

This guy #r4today "Israeli West Bank settler tells BBC attacks on Palestinians are justified as revenge." For 'attacks' read 'deaths'. He says 10 million Palestinians should die for each 'settler' that dies during murderous raids and attacks on the West Bank. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
