The grocery shopping experience of buying a couple prepackaged meals “in case I don’t feel like cooking some nights”, and then going through all of them in 2 days.

Went over 20 different dinner ideas in my head before finally saying aloud “I kind of just want a big salad”, and now I understand Elaine a little better.

Thinking about doing a regular Castlevania marathon stream. Something like CV1/2/3, Bloodlines, Rondo, Haunted Castle Revisited in one sitting. Could expand the list as I pick up more games. As much as CV4 should probably be a part of this, I ran it tonight and I'm just not a fan.

Taking care of my brother's cat for a bit. He followed me into the bathroom and I instinctively turned on the sink because he likes drinking straight from the faucet, and then I thought "oh, so this is what kind of uncle I'd be"

Rewatched Fate/Zero. I've found I am becoming "resensitized" (the opposite of desensitized) to bloody violence, and there is so much awful awful violence in this show. It's not glorified in any way, but when there's so much of it, the violence sort of becomes what the show is actually about.

People will say US Castlevania 3 is more difficult than JP because of increased damage, or trickier boss patterns, but the real difficulty spike comes from how many candles have had their subweapon drops replaced with a fucking knife, the worst subweapon in the game.

Encountered this more than once, going frame by frame Trevor begins the throwing animation one frame after the bird dies. I assume that's somehow related. Very funny though since 400 points is supposed to be for killing two enemies with the same subweapon.

After spending almost the entire day on CV3 Damageless Trevor Only, I’ve got it down to 5 hits! The bad news is that 2 of them exposed how unreliable my stage 9 waterfall strategy is…need to rethink that one.

Biggest surprise of working CV3 Trevor Only Damageless is how rough stage 6 is. The stream pushing you along, the stairs eating your Up inputs so subweapons don't come out, the stairs eating your Down inputs so you don't duck to whip Axe Armor attacks...it's maybe harder than 9, somehow.

Alucard on the Alucard Route Loop 2 Deathless complete! I...I think I want to do a damageless run next. Did some practice on stream and I maybe have the first three stages down, and I'm really enjoying mapping out the later stages as I go. A new mountain to climb, so to speak.
