This jackass who lives in my building is constantly on his balcony loudly watching YouTube videos and belching and blowing his nose and drumming on the table with his knife and fork, and you just *know* he’s a Brad Bradford voter.

People talk about fall colours but never fall sounds: the vivifying report of a leaf blower at dawn, the scream-sneezes emanating from every condo balcony, the pre-Thanksgiving rundown of discussion topics to be avoided at table.

I have had ME/CFS for 20 years. I would like treatment or, even better, a cure. At the very least, I would like people to treat ME/CFS as something that demands and deserves sustained medical research.

Here's today's column on the astonishing, ongoing mistreatment of people with #ME/CFS. Please spread it far and wide: the only thing which can break the media's wall of indifference is seeing an article about the issue go viral. Thank you. 1/2 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

I often think about the speed camera chopping vigilante who returned to the scene of their crime on Parkside Drive multiple times but Toronto police didn’t catch them & it led to Doug Ford banning speed cameras for 16 million people & now speeding is at epidemic levels & people will die.

To anyone that matters, it doesn’t matter whether or not it makes sense. All that matters is that he can do it and nothing can stop him. That is Doug’s only calculus on this, and any issue.

Totally agree with @theglobeandmail.com’s Marcus Gee: Where’s the common sense in Doug Ford’s decision to spend tens of millions of dollars ripping out Toronto’s bike lanes???? www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/toron...
