The buggear coming out in #pathfinder2e Infernal Inheritance is an excellent pick for a Battle Oracle build. STR, CHA, FREE. 10 HP Towering heritage makes you Large which is good for emanations and makes adjacent enemies take -1 circumstance penalty to your fear effects.

"Welcome to Norgorberger home of the Norgorberger. Can I take your order?" "I told you to sssstop ssssaying that." "Mister Norgorberger! What kind of cheese do you want on your Norgorberger?" "Pleassse don't make me sssay it." "Mister Norgorberger I gotta know." "...Brigh." Pathfinder2e

As much as I live for character customization, I do think there's value in having a locked appearance for "origin" characters in games like BG3/DOS2. When I go to find art for BG3, the characters are iconic and immediately recognizable. DOS2 lets you customize them, so it always looks a little off.

I'm gonna bellyache about this some more -- WE NEED MORE ARTISTS TO CREATE BLACK SCI FI CHARACTERS WITHOUT USING AI. YES, I REALIZE I COULD COMMISSION SOMEONE, BUT FOR A QUICK ONE SHOT? THERE SHOULD BE ART OF BLACK PEOPLE. GOD THIS IS SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING.

The other side of this post: I fucking LOVE TTRPGs. I've struggled and "quit" multiple times before realizing (finally) that it's impossible for me. Sorry to all other hobbies (I have a lot of them!), but TTRPGs are the best of all hobbies. Even when it sucks, it rocks.

(Not an advice-seeking post) it is very hard trying to work the day job (often very demanding), design/write/layout games, freelance, be an attentive partner/dad/friend, and then still find room to market games and send to distributors. Mostly kvetching, but dang, its a lot.

There is so much free human made fantasy art out there. OR you can just pay someone to make you thumbnails. If I see your video with an AI thumbnail? I'm just setting your channel to "Not Recommend" even if it's #PF2e #Pathfinder2e. Knock it the fuck off.
