in dog news, despite the older gal fooling no one with her acts of indifference to her new baby sister every morning post-breakfast the kitchen is GSD Thunderdome™️ while the boy and i get ready for work. of course, it’s all innocent faces sitting amongst toy carnage when we check on the ruckus.

one fun(ny) fact i’ve observed over the years of working with a guide dog is whenever the driver leaves the vehicle they react like it’s a catastrophic event! i guess they think we’re stranded? 🤔

Wifey is very fond of The Legend of Zelda. So I set her text message chime to the "Hey Listen!" from Ocarina of time. Thanks to my hearing aid bluetooth I now have a little pixie chiming "Hey Listen!" in my ear at surreal times and places like work meetings.

the silly antics of my new #guidedog have inspired a game. i call it “does the dog have ADHD or is this just two-year-old behavior?” current results are inconclusive, but very entertaining! (for context, as i type, this she has a bone under her paw and is spinning in circles trying to chew it.)

look, i’m truly honored, but we are undoubtedly screwed if i’m 50% of this chosen hero solution. also, my feeties are always cold; i need them waterproof shoes. (i do appreciate the 80s bangers that are on constant repeat in our transport, though.)

Wifey and I are watching somone play ultra hard difficulty legend of Zelda on youtube. Link got walloped by a monster and as he tumbled ignominously down a cartoon hill we both shouted "Get good scrub!" at the screen. Match made in heaven this one.

i’m amazed how few people have noticed i am working a different shepherd. (outside of friends and officemates who obviously knew about this beforehand.) they look nothing alike and are vastly different sizes but i guess to most people GSDs are interchangeable. unrelated photo #justcause.
