Guys I had a midlife crisis and bought a boat.
My blind wife has an app on her phone where a kind soul somewhere in the world can volunteer to help her by describing or reading something for her. My sister and my best friend are alive because of advances in chemotherapy. I have momentary access to every piece of music in human history.

So, your favorite flippant amphibian was an accidental frontliner. I had finished my degree late 2019 and took one last kitchen job in a new city (One last job and I'm out man!) in a hospital. Saw the whole arc of the first year from the inside. Froggy got wound way tight. Froggy is better now.

For non gym heads one plate usually means 45 lbs. So 270 lbs per side, plus another 45 for the bar. 585 lbs. Don't do that.

I will never understand humans. Barely climbed down out of the trees and started making up arbitrary nonsense like spoken language and gender roles. All just teetering piles of gentlemans agreements.
I dunno man. I just live under a rock by a pond but maybe having constant access to the thoughts and opinions of billions of people through social media isn't something our minds are completely prepared for.
One of my Crank Theories of Everything, at least of Everything in the Recent Past, is that we are dealing (badly) with COVID trauma we’d mostly prefer to pretend never happened.
So the missus and I are fine, we called into work and hunkered down. Roads all over the city are flooded out. As climate changes, becoming warmer and wetter, storms begin overwhelming things like drains and culverts. Infrastructure built to handle x amount at a time, and not easily changed.
The promise of New York City is inscribed on the Statue of Liberty: this place would welcome anyone seeking refuge or a better life.
With the torrential rain hitting the city my contribution to the ark is two German Shepherds. But they are both females so I am doing my part to stick it to the the magas.
