No Rest for the Wicked = sleeper hit. Deeper than any Diablo, it's got all the Souls-like dreary/cozy vibes, extremely rich character cinematics, amazing art style, petting dogs and cats, and the combat is super punchy. Incredible. I would've looked right over it without the co-op+free weekend.
Really looking forward to checking out the milk carton color control strip-core that is the Marathon art style
Real booms don't need artificial adoption to grow. Nobody needed to be forced to start wanting lightbulbs in their homes because they actually solved problems people wanted solved.
AI boom could falter without wider adoption, Microsoft chief Satya Nadella warns
This is technically abuse of the bug report system. But you're welcome.
Always good to remind yourself that a government can make anything legal. Asking "was this legal?" is for sure the wrong question.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from all of us at Deep Field Games. Thank you for making this year one for the history (and science) books. See you in 1996 - and the many portal worlds beyond!

There's some extremely mechanical with how they're all talking about the game. I swear the old Bungie vidocs used to describe things less in terms of "video game mechanics." Rubs me the wrong way. Game looks good, though!

I lived off a partner for years - essentially - while working on Unfortunate Spacemen. It makes getting up in front of a crowd and talking about "my journey to success" feel priviledged and fake. But it's common and there is often no other option. Support structures matter, make sure you have one.
Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.
