I'm going deep sea fishing with an @outseta customer today... 🎣 🐟 🚤 In shark infested waters. 🦈 I promise we made an honest effort to fix all the bugs. If I don't return, my last known location should be right about here.

I've been learning Spanish over the last year and struggling. This morning I met with an @outseta.com customer who has killer traction on his approach to learning Spanish. He just quit his job to go all-in. Check it out—Fluent With Stories. www.fluentwithstories.com

A pretty cool milestone today @outseta.com. Our goal was to make all of the core actions that you can take inside our software possible via our API and MCP server. As of today, you or an AI agent can do all of this without leaving your favorite AI assistant. Available now.

SaaS Founder real talk... Customer 1 tests nothing until minutes before their "launch deadline" and panics. Customer 2 tests everything obsessively (ie: makes 19 subscription changes in 5 mins) and is surprised when they see abnormal behavior. This will never be solved.

AI builders need: 1) Easier activation of payments, auth, emails 2) Business tools both humans + agents can drive 3) A single system of record with deep context on customers The things that have always made @outseta.com unique are now what the market is demanding. www.outseta.com/posts/built-...

Built For This Moment | Outseta

A letter from one of our Co-founders on where we're headed—and why the things that have always made Outseta different are now uniquely valuable to AI builders.

It's 2026. The most powerful technology ever is in our hands. Getting recommended by AI tools represents the next great frontier in marketing. And the key to it all, distilled but very true, remains getting listed in a bunch of crappy listicles. What a time to be alive.

Starting live experiments with the next version of Outseta's help desk. As with everything we release—extensively testing on our own business first!

If you offer Link as a payment method + want to change the tools you use for payment processing, any customer that paid with Link needs to re-enter their payment information. The payment method ID is not portable, even between Stripe processors. Major downside to offering Link.

What if... For all the talk of "unlocks," the truth is you haven't unlocked much. What if... Instead of tweeting incessantly about AI models, you re-invested that time in adding customer value. What if... The tools have changed, but the game really hasn't. What if?

One of my friends is a Creative Director at a fancy agency focused on brand identity. One of his projects was developing a font for a brand you know. The contract? $1.5M + $400K per year to continue using the font. I think about this when people tell me they can't charge more.

A key person leaves a tech company + everyone says "that company must be doomed." The story to me is the work environment tech has fostered. It's like being in a marriage where as soon as things get hard (or equity vests), your spouse walks away. Even in beloved companies.

We're seeing the rise of usage / outcome based pricing. It's appealing—an almost flawless idea in theory. But it's going to be messy—we're also seeing the rise of the unexpected, massive bill. I bet we see some recoil—many people will want the predictability of a subscription.

An honest question: Can you name anyone in the popular tech media that genuinely holds some sort of standard in terms of who they will and won't platform? Meaning they'll turn down guests who have had financial success, a large audience, notoriety, etc for any sort of reason based on principle.
