I know this is a niche thing, but I think I found the depot for Avride (robotaxi startup) here in Austin. Drove past it yesterday. maps.apple/p/Y_ZFIN-rxs...
Okay my turn If Apple doesn’t fix the sidebar open/close animation on the Mac, I’m gonna put everyone in a rear naked choke hold
I have no idea what these folks are up to but I can’t wait.

First ride in Tesla’s Robotaxi *without* an operator in the passenger seat! Not gonna lie, I was skeptical they’d make it this far on vision alone.
I’m late to the party, but it’s time for me to enter squircle discourse! (Please note that my opinions are not to be taken seriously 😂)

The updates to OpenCode desktop (tabs, project selection) are great – and make it wayyy more usable. Thanks @thdxr.com and team!
cloudflare access has been very useful for this era of small vibecoded tools we often have something that needs to be public facing but then we configure /admin/* to need google login it's part of our IaC setup so the agent can both create this ui and protect it
The Odyssey was fantastic, but I had a hard time emotionally attaching myself to specific moments because of the pacing. Some scenes felt more like montages, and could’ve used a little more breathing room.

Love how some of Apple's Mac apps are absolute ass, but this random control buried in Keychain has beautiful glass effect.
Still mad that Tesla developed an entirely new car just to use it for a robotaxi service. Maybe they’ll change course in a few years and build a version that can actually be sold to people.
I’m in absolute bits I’m so sorry if you went to bed and didn’t see this live
I've been using Sill (mostly via RSS) for a while now, and each time I get a link in my feed, it's something I'm actually interested in. Easy sub. Services like this are why open social networks are great. It couldn't exist otherwise!
Many people have asked how they can help support Sill. Now you can with Sill+, a new subscription tier for Sill. Today, Sill+ gives you beta access to the forthcoming iOS app!

Pretty sure there was a player in this tournament not given a red card for a more serious/similar play 🤷🏻
In NHL I think you have to punch a fan in the face to get that

I use Claude nonstop at work. I use Siri AI at home. I'm creating demand for AI services, which contributes to the memory shortage and increasing cost of computers. I don't think it's wrong. I just think we (as consumers) need to be honest about our role in the system.
New Siri app on the Mac is nice for simple chats. I'm sure they'll dress it up soon, but right now it looks like somebody's starter SwiftUI app. 😂
