@cmccormack414.bsky.social @beerwithbuffy.bsky.social @iannitram.bsky.social @lanidianerich.com Question for all Buffy watchers but what the hell did the writers see in the Riley character as I don't get it, I never understood the appeal ? The character was boring, had no chemistry with Buffy
Its like that Blackadder episode where you can have anything to eat provided its sausages. The announcer on the train saying they have drinks and food but its only for 4 carriages A,B,C,D and if your not in those you cant get a drink also they dont they dont have hot drinks or hot food 😄
@iannitram.bsky.social @lanidianerich.com You're Welcome on the Rewatch For everyone that doesn't know this was meant to be the episode Buffy would be on. SMG couldn't do it, said for a bereavement and Joss Whedon was genuinely angry over this. David Fury and others confirmed this.
@lanidianerich.com @iannitram.bsky.social So Damage on the rewatch , even if you don't watch Angel you should definitely watch this 1 episode as its a direct sequel to Buffy finale Chosen, with psychotic Vampire Slayer Dana. Watching her literally hack a person's head off with a saw is grim and I

@lanidianerich.com @iannitram.bsky.social @lackofsurprise.bsky.social So Unleashed, it could've but wasn't a great episode. 1) The Actress who played Nina was terrible. The actual character is interesting but the actress, whose sole qualification was dating a writer, can't act to save her life

@storanorrland.bsky.social So Iv seen both The Freshman and City of I love the college sets and campus for The Freshman and that Library looks 😍 I also liked Sunday and its a shame they didn't do more with her because she was a fun character. Also Buffy with the iconic Stake twirl is great. For
Trying to grow the memoirs and dispatches collection
@storanorrland.bsky.social @artemisapphire.bsky.social so Iv finished the 2 parter Bad Girls and Consequences. Both are good episodes though not perfect. Wesley is a big issue. Now I know the writers have said he was supposed to be dislikable etc. For me that is the point, he was written to 1

@storanorrland.bsky.social @artemisapphire.bsky.social So I rewatched The Zeppo A 10/10 for me, one of my favourites. Everything just works in it. From swapping the A plot with the B plot to some truly brilliant and hilarious dialogue Xander "This is my thing" Buffy "Is this a penis metaphor" 🤣
