In what I do, I make it a point to only have basic knowledge of the data I manage and transfer. I don't really care that your process does all these things. I just care about getting the data from A -> B as securely as possible.

I'm getting to be pretty alright at the damn game, and even won a few first level decks now. Then I get to yellow, and every time I get in the groove, it'll throw a curveball to bone me. Here, it's like.. "You think you're cute with your build, well, FUCK YOU then!" (Face card stack build)

Wow, I actually was on the receiving end of an Amazon lottery shipment instead of getting an open box or something.. Of course not something crazy, but was rather surprised to have 16 nozzles AND hose for the Gecko's cage instead of the 4 nozzles I ordered.

Gets better. Instead of like, yaknow, opening a ticket like everyone needs to anyway, they went right to their bureau chief to bitch that we apparently can't handle their services. Got a frantic call from my boss asking all sorts of questions regarding the environment and everything was just fine.

I'm just.. Get a priority ticket in at 5:30pm from a InfoSec manager from another agency, stating they can't upload to their dropbox (self-hosted here by us) share on a guest account. Needed to be done today. Permissions are right, everything looks as expected.

Took the car out today since I needed to run to the DC for a quick thing. Forgot how low (and old) the gas was, so went to fill up in town. Stopped at the normal little station I go to here in town for 91 (wish I could get 93/0 or E85 here local).

Especially when you're someone I've emailed MULTIPLE times about what to do, and you now persist on having 'a quick phone call'. FFS, I've told you what you need to do over and over again.

I seriously want to scream into the void at times with work messaging. I can not stand the whole 'intro' line waiting for a reply. Hell, I hate that in almost any conversation, just give me the details in one go. It's a serious waste of my time and really... irks me.

I think something is glitched in the Corsair hub or something. Everything connected to it isn't registering any longer (default rainbow/graphic). Tried drivers, moving cables, but still glitched. Think it about sums up my mood lately with everything though..

Screw it.. Since it's jumping in price and want to get the NAS Plex server live, already had an annual sub. Decided to pull the trigger for the lifetime pass (and they actually prorated the last annual fee). With the news about Roku recently, oh yeah gonna just run what I can local.

Introduced Korb to a local friend's new GSD puppy, 'Olga'. I was amazed at how much patience he showed her given his normal crazy-ass self normally when at his place. Went over as best as could be though! Also now remember the puppy GSD stage where they're called LandSharks for a reason. Oww..

What he conveniently neglects to mention Is how AMAZING he is at making it not only taste FANTASTIC but also looks FABULOUS!

Made @cocoeagle.bsky.social his belated birthday dinner tonight.. My General Tso's chicken! I've had a crazy busy week with work, and the dish takes me no less than 3 hours as I make everything from scratch. I'm always so happy when it comes out perfect to me. The sauce is a multi-step process!

Was wondering why the shape of this storm and patterns of movement were so strange in comparison to normal pattern SE-E-NE movements. Interesting makeup of fronts and pressure areas creating the strange storm line movement range across WI/IL.

I thought I had just enough time to run to Cambridge after walking the dog to pick a couple things up. I did not. Storm moved in far quicker than expected. Wind was NUTS and rain came down in sheets. Power went out at the Piggly Wiggly while checking out too. Poor Korb was hiding downstairs. -.-

Since I changed the oil and put Summer tires on the STi, decided to go out for a bit this afternoon and do some errands to burn off the months old 93 in there. Driving around Eastern Dane County, they actually weren't kidding about Flock cameras. Every single one was covered up. This pleases me.

I have a couple of secret pleasure things I like to watch before bed nightly if available. One is Australian Border Control vids. The other, even when I had Cable long ago and NHK was available..
