That AMNH 5027 cast was the first T. rex mounted in a horizontal pose. The Corythosaurus (real) is a gorgeous renaissance-era remount of a specimen that's been on display since at least the 60s. There's a lot of history in those exhibits worth saving—not just the collections themselves.

Here's some concept art from the ROM's current dinosaur exhibit, which opened with the "crystal" addition in 2007. Not sure what stage of the process these are from but it's always interesting to see what made it (and what didn't) in the final version.
This is the only display photo I can find—you can see a bit of the tusk poking in from the right. The guy in the center is the Colombian mammoth from Washington, which is still on display.
P 12132 is a woolly mammoth skull from Alaska that was on display at the Field in the early 20th century. It’s currently disassembled in collections.
