i have great news. i did the event and i ended up staying way longer than i planned and it was literally fine! despite my deep anxiety i had a good time and made fun small talk with folks.

brought my partner with me to a doctor's appointment to try to circumvent fatphobia and it worked! i only got a little tiny bit fatphobia'd and i got a new migraine medication to try (which was my actual concern for this appointment). best i've felt about a primary care appointment in quite a while

so thing is, we had a lot of good will and patience from the landlord, and the community was allowed to move into the fence in april. today they were evicted because we haven't been able to raise enough for rent since may now we need money to help people get back to Gorom

i have a doctor's appointment next week that is definitely going to be my doctor pitching uncommon weight loss drugs to me (i'm not supposed to be prescribed glp-1s because of my gastroparesis) while i try to bring up my migraines and i'm not looking forward to it one bit.

i have scary news. Abod's wife, my dear friend Aya, has a tumor in her neck. it's benign (thank God!) but for her surgery, Aya needs to travel to northern Gaza, an even more dangerous area. her recovery will be painful, difficult, and expensive. please help if you can. chuffed.org/project/help...

i wish i had happier news about Rawan during all this fun stuff right now, but her mom's doing bad enough that they've started her on an IV for the issues with her eye. She's still $855 away from making surgery- please help! chuffed.org/project/1486...
