A mood board for my THE KNIGHT AND THE MOTH x FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST #romantasy about an outcast young woman cursed with chaos magic from an enemy kingdom who must resist both being used as a weapon in a centuries-old war, and her growing attraction for the treasonous noble duty-sworn to protect her.

Writing is really just a matter of writing a lot, writing consistently and having faith that you'll continue to get better and better. Writing is about struggling through and learning and finding out what it is about writing itself that you really love. —Laura Kasischke

This mood board is SO good, where do I sign up? 😍

A moodboard for my LEGENDBORN X BLACK MIRROR #YA dystopian space fantasy I think this captures just a smidge of the vibes 💫 Happy Day 1 of #DVparty! #BVM

While you're guessing which #RevPit #10Queries post is yours, I've got five query letter tips to share based on opportunities for improvement that I noticed in multiple submissions!

My first #10queries and I had a blast sifting through these! I was even able to pick out mine hehe! Extremely grateful to the #revpit editors who took time to participate in this event, and for the advice they’ve given us individually and collectively 🥰

P4: Beautiful imagery in these pages. We need a paragraph after the initial opening to ground the reader a little. Why is the lack of “message” an issue? Why is MC reviled? Three or four sentences is all we need #RevPit #10Queries

Woke up with severe jet lag thinking that #10queries was today. Alas, one more sleep until the fun begins! In the meantime, here’s a photo of the insane view/sunset from our writing retreat Airbnb in Scotland 🥰

Writing retreat in Scotland with my favorite fellow fantasy writers. Feeling so lucky, and so refreshed after four days of writing, reading, laughing and adventuring with those wonderful people. #writingcommunity
