Best compliment I ever received: "The Google Fu is strong with this one."
it's amazing how prevalent the idea is that a bigot who calmly says "no sir" and "yes ma'am" is more civil than a kindhearted person who tells nazis to fuck off

Journalists and reporters and commentators are being fired for accurately repeating, as in word for word, what a person is on video saying. We have well and truly lost freedom of the press and freedom of speech.
"it's so strange that half of us are like you should care about everyone even if it doesn't directly impact you, the other half are like, no." H/t @wildoakfarms on IG
The Republican Party is gonna go down in infamy. Which is small comfort. But richly deserved.
This is true...but the institution relevant here is the Republican Party, which produced only a handful of votes for impeachment and removal - and then produced godawful Supreme Court decisions preventing prosecution and knocking out a Constitutional provision keeping him off of the ballot.
You gotta be some kind of monster to be proud of canceling Kermit and Stephen.
All I'm saying is if you have yet to see Superman, run don't walk. It's that good.
Actor Mandy Patinkin’s plea for Jews to consider how what Netanyahu’s Israeli government is doing to Gaza is not just harming Palestinians and killing kids — but also endangering Jews across the globe.
This @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social video is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The numbers he cites, the strategy and results they produced — it’s the future. When have you heard *any* campaign talk about this, ever? (Video split in 2 to fit in Bluesky’s limits)
70% of eligible voters did not vote for him. He doesn't have a mandate. He has a sliver.
👇🎯 Again, the casual ease with which we’ve decided neither the law nor the constitution nor our int’l treaty commitments (which are also part of US law) matter at all is indicative of how far we’ve collapsed into authoritarianism & how not punishing things like Iran-Contra & Iraq 2003 got us here.
The fact that this question is barely even mentioned in public discussions is illustrative of where we are now. [2]
Why are any democrats (not counting Fetterman, he's an asshat and doesn't count) voting for ANYTHING brought to the floor by the fascist regime? Every time it's like a knife to the back.
These 18 Democrats just voted for the Senate's corrupt crypto industry bill that greenlights Trump's corruption: Alsobrooks Booker Cortez Masto Fetterman Gallego Gillibrand Hassan Heinrich Hickenlooper Kim Lujan Ossoff Padilla Rosen Schiff Slotkin Warner Warnock
Thank goodness we have Jack Posobiec to inform us that grown men trading mean tweets is how "high agency males" communicate with each other <checks notes> directly. Because that's not what I would have called it.
I cannot stop wheezing
But "due process" isn't important if you're innocent.
This guy is like one of 4 Americans who actually went and got their REAL ID and immediately they said it was a fake. Just so everyone knows when they toss your ass in a truck it won't matter what passport or identification you have they'll throw it in the street and you're gone
Somebody please explain to me why ANY Democratic Senator would vote yes on ANY nomination brought by the fascist regime? FOLKS. JUST. SAY. NO. (this question is not in search of answer, as they will only infuriate me)
Every store, retailer, service provider, outlet—every entity involved in commerce should display the tariff cost of their wares and services.

I wish I was living 50 years from now and reading about how the word "trump" completely reversed its meaning starting in the mid 21st century, switching from "to win or override" to "to destroy with mindless incompetence and venal purpose" That CEO really trumped his company didn't he?
It astonishes me how many unqualified people he has access to: it's like an endless ladder of the Peter Principle
Trump is “strongly considering” Fox News host and former prosecutor Jeanine Pirro as interim U.S. attorney for DC, ABC reports
Big Pharma: $1.6 trillion "Wellness" industry: $6.3 trillion One relies on science, research, trials, and data. One... does not.
