Just seen, by reading the shows coming in autumn, that the haunting on the Welsh farm that was on uncanny podcasts a couple of years ago, is going to be on telly. Also, Carrie by Stephen King is being given a second outing under Mike Flanagan this autumn too. My cup runneth over.

Anyway, watching Whisper Man after finding the book I’m reading a bit heavy going, so it’s films for me this weekend. I’m struggling with this film as well, it’s not gripping me.

Got music on, tv off and a book to hand, tv show may follow. I’ve already caught up with episodes 2/3 of Devil in Silver with another 3 to go. Trying to stretch them out a bit. Same with Bookish.

Why must I always be the last one to know something? I’m always on the outside, on the fringes of something, while everyone else has already worked it out. I think I must be some kind of alien. 👽

I hate cosy crime dramas with a passion, but Bookish is in a different class. It’s brilliant, the era, the locations, the characters, even the theme music. And being based in a book shop had me hooked.
