TV writers were right in 2023 and are being proven more right every day — there was a stable television model that made everyone lots of money and put out good shows. Then execs with no understanding of the industry confused the production model and the distribution model, and they blew it all up.

At one point, after I was on my third LA apartment, I got rid of my EXTENSIVE VHS collection because they took up so much room in my one bedroom apartment and lugging them from place to place was a pain. Anyway, you can pry my dvd collection from my cold, dead hands. Bury me with my Willow dvd!

PSA: If you have a library card, you can download the Kanopy app to your TV and watch a truly heroic amount of free movies and TV shows. There's new stuff but also a bunch of classics (The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Devil and Daniel Webster) that you can't find anywhere else.
