I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again - people who still engage with Harry Potter in any way - by buying merch,the books, watching the show (even if you use “alternate” means to access said show) you are supporting JKR and her beliefs. There is no way to divide the two and there never has been
I will be excited about a new sequel to a series I love - but I lose interest real quick when you bring back a character that died in the first film for comic relief ? If that’s not nostalgia bait I’m not sure what is.

Most of the positive reactions I have seen about this movie have to be bots or paid schills. Cause nobody - johnny depp fans or not are clamoring for another Christmas Carol remake. And like - at best this is another extremely misguided adaptation like Charlie and the Chocolate factory was.

Apart from Hawke, the only one of my DAOCs that has siblings is Telana, who had a younger brother. He was forced out of their clan when it had too many mages, not wanting him to be alone she followed him and made a life for them outside a small village.

I mean she grew up around it, went to “school” with future mortalitasi mages - and later worked with them. Then she (eventually) marries Emmrich and raises their adopted son ( who is a result of necromancy kinda) so Nia’s cool with it.

The fade prison is the easy choice, but since Solas manipulated that into happening I'll exclude that. I think being exiled from the Necropolis was very hard for her. It was all she had ever known and if not for Varric recruiting her she probably would not have been invited back.
