It's not really much of a surprise that the MCU has gone thoroughly down the Glup Shitto path when there are hundreds of sites falling over themselves to spoil a film that hasn't even been out for a week.

Great but extremely depressing thread that underlines that the hollowing out of libraries during the 2010s was one of the biggest acts of idiocy (and there were tonnes of them, let's face it) that the Government of that time carried out.

Colleagues and I had to open every single VHS cassette box at Our Price to search for firebombs. One had failed to go off properly overnight and we needed to make sure there weren't any left. It was planted on the Saturday, the day of the Omagh bomb, which killed 29 people. I was 18 at the time.

what are some absurd work situations you can share? once i got called into a meeting i had nothing to do with because the consultant brought an engineer and no one in the room could understand him, so they asked me to translate. he was scouse. i translated from english to english.

Contemplating just going to bed and watching the rest on iPlayer tomorrow if it somehow turns into a good match out of nowhere.
