more director's commentary here: for peep week i was challenging myself to write as plainly and efficiently as possible and i liked it more than i thought i would! im usually a yapper so it was fun to edit myself and find different ways to structure sentences

Lee Minho tests Felix's patience mightily in many way, but he respects Felix's rules. He asks Felix for a kiss after their first date. He ships Felix pretty gold jewelry that matches what he wears in his own piercings (many of them). When he buys Felix a new set of gaming monitors, they're Asus QD-OLEDs.

For those especially, Felix figures Minho deserves some actual sugar. Not all his clients pay so much attention, and surely Minho isn't opening his wallet solely for the pleasure of Felix's company at random events. Besides, if he really does have a dick piercing, Felix is intrigued to see how it'll feel inside him.

was thinking, he texts. do u want me to come 2 ur place sometime? stay the night?

You want a sleepover? comes the swift response. Sure, if it makes you happy. Thursday night?

Thursday night. Felix has plenty of time to pick out some cute lingerie, make sure he's waxed, and otherwise prepare to knock Minho's socks off.

Minho calls Felix a taxi, and answers the door wearing comfortable sleepwear already. Felix cocks his hip and grins, tilting his head so his dangly gold earrings catch the warm lighting from inside. "Hey, hyung," he purrs. "How was your day?"

Minho slow blinks. Fuck, his smile is cute. Felix has to resist reading anything more into it, though. Minho is a client, if one he's fond of.

"It was fine. Come in, I made dinner."

After dinner- which is surprisingly good, most of the men Felix sugars for don't have the cooking skill to fill a teaspoon- they curl up on the couch together to watch a movie, Minho's cats batting a mouse toy between them on the rug. Felix knew about them, of course- Minho is clearly very fond of them by the photo he keeps in his wallet and the way he mentioned them on his first date with Felix. They kind of kill the vibe, though, even as Felix rests a casual hand on Minho's very nice thigh. The sweats Minho is wearing don't do much to hide his bulge, and Felix is quite interested in making himself further acquainted with that very soon.

But the cats... he absolutely cannot be seducing their dad right in front of them.

"Hyung," he whines, making his eyes as big and round as possible. "Do you really want the cats around while we make out? I dont want to scar their little baby eyes..."

"Make out?" Minho turns his head to look at Felix, raising his eyebrows. "Who said anything about making out?"

"Isn't that what I'm here for? Why you hired me?" Felix blinks, caught off guard. "You've been a real gentleman this whole time, but most people who hire me don't care about my sparkling personality. I didn't get into sugaring because I cared about some casual making out or sex or whatever."

"You are very pretty, that's true." Minho almost looks... amused? "But I don't really like making out or sex or whatever. I like some other things that you put down as being fine with you, but sex isn’t one of them."

"Oh." Felix has to process that for a second. "Does that mean, uh, I should have brought my cat ears and collar to wear instead?"

"Don't worry about it." Minho waves his hand dismissively. "I have my own."

Well, this is different. Still probably going to be fun, though. Minho would make a very cute cat.

#minlixpeepweek Day 2: Drench

Minho can't help but laugh at poor Yongbok, drenched from his adventure out in the rain, all of his fur sticking up in wild clumps as he paws at the screen door.

The pitiful little cat shoots inside as soon as Minho opens the door, dripping water everywhere, but Minho catches him in a towel and bears him up to the upstairs bathroom where he's already drawn a hot bath. His Yongbokkie is starting to shiver, and that simply will not do.

Yongbok sulks while Minho washes him, but he does concede to turn back into a man to let Minho wash his hair properly. Minho loves taking care of Felix's hair; long or short, black or blonde or every color of the rainbow, he always makes sure it feels silky smooth and healthy. Right now it's a dark brown, long enough to tie back but not enough to make a proper bun of. Felix relaxes inch by inch as Minho works through it with shampoo and conditioner until the water ripples with low-frequency purring.

"I told you it was going to rain," Minho murmurs, fingers carding through Felix's hair to get any snarls out. "Why didn't you come right home?"

"...That cute guy..." Felix murmurs after a long pause. His cheeks are bright red, whether from the temperature or the embarrassment it's hard to tell.

"The one you keep putting off introducing me to, hm?"

"I am not!" Felix insists, but he subsides quickly, expression going dreamy again. "Turns out he shifts too, and we were busy playing... mmm, hyung... lost track of time...."

"In the rain?" Minho wrinkles his nose. "He can't be cute enough for that."

Felix sticks out his tongue. "How would you know!"

"I know everything, kitten." Minho drums on the top of Felix's head a few times, then stands up slowly, ignoring the crackling of his knees. "Ugh. I'm going to go get the towels, you're all done."

He ignores Felix's playful little growl after him, and then Felix's knowing look when he feels the fresh-from-the-dryer warmth of the towels. He had the sudden urge to do laundry today, sue him. No one can possibly know if he heard the rain and set about making sure Felix wouldn't be cold when he got home.

And tomorrow, Felix definitely won't be able to tell if Minho stalks him so he can finally evaluate the cuteness of this other shifter for himself. No one steals his kitten on his watch, thank you very much.

#minlixpeepweek is here! Day 1: Bloom

Felix lives for the moment when he sees Minho's proud, delighted smile bloom across his face.

Culinary school is hard work; a pastry apprenticeship is even more so. Minho is a strict teacher, demanding that his students keep up with the pace he sets, requiring creativity for the best scores, not just solid fundamentals. Felix wakes up earlier than he ever has in his life so that he can experiment before he produces his most perfect matcha tirimasu, and stays up late preparing trays of candied winter melon. His brownies are legendary among his friends, but the first time Minho tasted one, he hummed, nodded, and said, "Passable."

Felix doesn't settle for passable. He's going to be the best.

Every week, Felix tweaks his recipe and brings Minho a new sample. Every week, Minho says "Passable." "Fine." "Getting there."

On the last week of Felix's apprenticeship, Felix is at the end of his rope. His sleep is shit, he hasn't seen his friends in what feels like forever, and the fucking brownies are still tormenting him on top of the dozen different recipes that he has to study for their practical exams.

"Chef Lee," he bursts out with after one of their last sessions. "How do you make brownies, then?"

"Why, Felix, I thought you'd never ask."

(It turns out Minho's favorite brownies come out of a box.

Felix doesn't kill him, but only because Minho promises to make them for Felix after he passes his exams, as compensation for the time and stress.

When Minho presents the plate, there's a note on top. Felix picks it up to unfold it first, and flushes bright red when he reads You're cute when you're frustrated. Come get coffee with me 10:00 Tuesday.
