Today the great 15 year adventure of Frieda's life came to a close. After months of gradual decline now she runs eternal in dreams. One day it will not hurt so, but I will always miss her.

Woop today is Super Pet Mom day! Cat had weepy eye and dog has been struggling with appetite. They both got to visit their respective vets. Everyone gets treats tonight.

This isn't uncommon and the owls make no effort to grab the hummingbirds. My sense is they'd have to use more calories than the prey would provide even if they could catch them. #owls #birdoftheday #birdphotography
