Welcome to the 2nd Weirdo Corner! Home of Gonzo vs Taika. The original account started August ‘22 on Insta. I am Deanna. Socially Awkward Dyslexic with a thirst for nostalgia & whimsy. Muppet ❤️. OFMD Crew for Life. Be Weird. Be Kind. Spread Smiles! 🥸🤗😄
I tried to download the Instagram reel, but it had background music I couldn’t download. Anyway here is me trying to make Taika Laika a thing. You know like Barbenheimer. Or whatever 😅😂🫣🥸 Cringe? Maybe. 😂 I am sure a double feature of these films would be a tear fest. 😭😭
Summer 2022 I joined this marvelous fandom. It isn’t dead. A series might end, but fandom lives on. It’s in the art, fics and friendship that is made through it. Some might steer away, but there is a bit of it still there. Me? I’m a lifer. Thank you to all the talented folks who keep creating. 🌈🏴☠️❤️🥹

My mom’s ac is out. We had to get her a window unit until we can afford someone to look at it. She has no money. We have no money. A 69 year old woman who just fought through cancer treatment should have an ac in 100+ temps in Texas. This week has been brutal.

Dolly was kindness. I am heartbroken. Aren’t we all? Give to her Imagination Library. Be kind to others. Help those who need it. Be yourself without any apologies. Be a bit more like Dolly.

"Dolly Parton with Keith Haring in 1985. Dolly supported LGBTQ people for decades, going back to a time when few others dared"
I am offering up this little slice of smiles. 🧛🏻♂️🦇
I went to an early showing of this film. in a packed theater in a small town. Laughter was audible. It is rare to hear that these days in a theater. I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie in a packed theater. It made me so happy hearing everyone enjoying it ❤️❤️ My toon loving heart is glowing.
ToonHive@toonhive.bsky.social · 2mo ago‘Coyote vs Acme’ will triumphantly release in theaters this Friday. The film suffered almost being shelved by Warner Bros. for a tax writeoff despite heavy backlash from audiences and bids from other studios. Ultimately, Ketchup Entertainment bought the film rights for $50M.
Rhys has a YouTube live event happening for this at 5pm PST. I am sure you all know, but here I am letting you know anyway. 😅

@taroly.bsky.social · 2mo agoA few Taika highlights from last week's #Wilderpeople10 anniversary screening in London. I feel very fortunate to have been in the front row for the Q&A and I loved hearing Taika, Julian and Rachel remembering Sam 🩷

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful
if you trekked across London today just to confirm that Taika is, in fact, still an egregiously attractive dork, and the tache is immaculate as ever, i thank you for you service 🫡
I am always seeing Rhys getting showered with love from the fandom. Taika doesn’t do stand up touring or cons like Rhys. So a day like today is so rare. Of course I wish I could be there! I am just beaming at the fact that so many of you were there showering him with love. Rachel and Julien too! ❤️❤️
