I love seeing stuff like this, really cool. Reminds me of an interview I heard with Tim Heidecker where he said for the VHS glitches in Tim & Eric they would record the footage to tape, then just record the output as they beat the crap out of a VCR while it was playing.

A little behind the scenes of how we created the glitches for Imprinted. Nothing too fancy, just an old camcorder and a telly. If you want to check out how it looks in-game, check out the demo on Steam. store.steampowered.com/app/3980340/...

If you guys like this wait until you hear about Barry McGee (Twist) & Margaret Kilgallen, married artists that wrote on trains in the 90's, taking inspiration from trainhoppers that would sign their names on cars. They were hugely influential in evolving 90's train tagging culture.

Take a break from being depressed that everything you love is being destroyed by slop for a moment and let me tell you about the beautiful symbiotic relationship between graffiti writers, train yard workers, and model train enthusiasts.

There's a graffiti texture in Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike Source that's a real throwie from KILO that I had seen several times in Seattle. Seeing it in the games was a real turning point for me in my journey creatively and later working in games.

Growing up in rural Vermont the only exposure I really had to graffiti was videogames and trains passing by. I've always loved the art form. This is such a fun intersection of artistic expression.

There’s a Tesla service center next to this dog park I’m at and I just caught a glimpse of one of those Tesla taxis. Insanely ugly. I would describe the color as Dog Diarrhea Gold.
